AI Strategy & Roadmaps
Connect AI investments to business decisions, portfolio priorities, measurable outcomes, and responsible adoption — sequenced so each phase funds the next.
Fractional AI Strategy Advisor · Customer Experience Design & Innovation
With thirty-five years experience, I work with executive teams across two connected practices — as a fractional AI strategy advisor, and as a customer experience design and innovation leader. One shapes the decisions the business makes. The other shapes what customers actually feel. Senior perspective in the room, without the overhead of a full-time hire.

The leadership imperative isn't to start with technology. It's to start with the decisions that move the business and the experiences customers actually feel — and then build the AI and design capability that makes both faster, clearer, and worth defending.
Two practices, one advisor
Advisory grounded in building the thing and designing the thing — not just recommending either. Most engagements start in one practice; the useful ones end up drawing on both.
Practice one — Fractional AI Strategy Advisor
For leadership teams with AI activity everywhere and AI decisions nowhere — where the constraint is the portfolio, the operating model, and the investment case, not the technology.
Connect AI investments to business decisions, portfolio priorities, measurable outcomes, and responsible adoption — sequenced so each phase funds the next.
Design multi-agent approaches that synthesize evidence, compare scenarios, and improve executive decision velocity — not another dashboard.
Stand up guardrails that survive contact with risk and legal, and translate complex AI choices into an investment narrative the board can act on.
Practice two — Customer Experience Design & Innovation
For leadership teams whose experience is the sum of what each channel happened to build — where the constraint is intent, ownership, and evidence, not effort.
Set the experience the business intends to deliver, then design the ownership, measures, and rhythms that make it somebody’s actual job.
Map the journey customers really take, find the breakpoints that cost revenue and trust, and redesign the service across every channel that touches it.
Apply human-centered design and emerging technology to create differentiated products and services — prototyped and tested with customers before they are funded at scale.
How we work together
Scoped to the decision or the experience in front of you — from a single executive session to ongoing advisory alongside your leadership team. Each format runs as AI strategy work, as customer experience design work, or as one engagement covering both.
A working session with your leadership team to establish a shared, non-hype view of what AI can and cannot do in your operating context, and an honest read on the experience your customers get today — and where the real constraint sits.
Most relationships start here. It is the fastest way to establish which practice the real problem sits in — and whether a sprint or a retained relationship is the right next step.
A defined engagement that runs in one of two shapes — an AI Strategy Sprint producing a roadmap tied to business decisions, or a CX Design Sprint producing a reinvented journey with prototypes customers have actually seen. Both are prioritized with established frameworks rather than intuition, and sequenced against real capacity.
Everything the briefing produces, carried through to a sequenced plan — and, on the design side, a prototype — your leadership team can fund and defend.
Retained advisory alongside your executive team, as Fractional AI Strategy Advisor, as Fractional CX & Innovation Leader, or as one seat covering both — the senior perspective in the room, without adding a full-time role or a consulting bench.
The compounding option: decisions and design calls get support at the moment they are made, not in a readout weeks later.
Background
Two decades of it spent designing customer experience — a boutique experience agency, a global CX innovation practice, a Silicon Valley design studio — and the last several building enterprise AI. The two practices come from the same career, not from a second business card.
Founder & Chief Experience Officer
Founded f/cx.ai a Fractional customer experience design and innovation agency built for the AI era, and lead the practice as its principal design strategist and innovator — setting the design point of view, the innovation methods, and the proprietary ToolKit that client engagements run on. In parallel, carry Prioriti AI’s products and solutions into the market and advise enterprise leadership teams on decision intelligence, while retaining core leadership responsibilities at Prioriti AI.
Founder
Built an enterprise AI company on agentic decision intelligence and generative prioritization, moving AI from experimentation into repeatable executive decision workflows. Created the proprietary platform IP uniting multiple AI perspectives, real-time enterprise data, and structured decision frameworks, with integration designed across CRM, ERP, finance, and work-management platforms.
Head of Design
Established Brillio’s Silicon Valley experience-design presence, building the design-thinking practice, tool frameworks, and solution offerings for the Global Design Studio, and led experience and strategy design across digital transformation programs.
Partner & Chief Innovation Officer, DESS · CX Innovation, Design & Emerging Technology Leader
Led customer-experience innovation, design, and emerging technology for global enterprise clients. Developed executive perspectives on digital customer experience, mobility, wearables, and personalization, and connected strategy, design, and technology so enterprise leaders could act on practical transformation opportunities.
Founder & Chief Experience Officer
Founded and led a boutique digital experience and innovation agency specializing in experience design and next-generation innovation, helping companies launch, grow, and compete in the digital age. Consulted to Comframe Software, an NWN company, establishing its usability and user-experience engineering group (2007–2009).
Executive Technology & Innovation Roles
Founding member of Siebel’s Professional Services organization and of the Siebel UAN product team; ran the Architecture and EAI global technology competencies across solution architecture, product management, and implementation. At Mercury, led initiatives for the Managed Services and Professional Services organizations and served as product liaison for the performance tools suite and Performance Center products.
Manager, New Architecture Software Applications
Managed new-architecture application development and served as lead architect for bag-in-box (BIB) systems, designing the BIB tracking and labeling system alongside inventory and location control systems.
Software engineering
Hands-on engineering roles that built the technical foundation underneath three decades of later technology strategy.

Let's talk
If your team is weighing where to invest in AI, trying to move from pilots to something that actually runs the business, or looking hard at a customer experience that no longer holds up — a short conversation is usually the fastest way to find out whether I can help. Either practice, or both.
